Anthem Enterprise, LLC was founded in 2023 to restore integrity, transparency, and purpose to an industry that has too often lost sight of its true mission—serving the best interests of physicians, their patients, and the healthcare facilities they support. Anthem has brought together some of the most experienced and respected professionals in the field—individuals who have never lost focus on the most important client of all: the patient.

Our leadership team first came together in the late 1990s, building a national network of ancillary service lines centered on extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL)—then, and still, the gold standard for kidney stone treatment. From the beginning, our success has been grounded in strong physician relationships, transparency in operations and reporting, clear communication, and long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country.

Over the past decade, as venture capital and private equity groups entered the industry, many long-standing service providers sold controlling interests in pursuit of short-term financial gains. The results were predictable—declining service quality, reduced access to technology, opaque financial reporting, rising phantom costs, and diminishing profits. Physicians—once the cornerstone of these partnerships—found themselves marginalized and excluded from decisions impacting patient care.

Encouraged by many of our former physician partners, Anthem re-entered the ancillary services industry with renewed purpose. Alongside our ESWL expertise, we now proudly provide advanced laser lithotripsy and ureteroscopy services, as well as MRI fusion biopsy technology and other proven urologic solutions. Our approach is simple: deliver the highest quality service, empower our physician partners, and return control of ancillary services to where it belongs—with the doctors who serve patients every day.
